This intensive is designed for aerialists with prior sling experience who want to expand their vocabulary and work with momentum in a clear, technical, and progressive way.
The focus will be understanding how momentum works — not just reaching bigger skills, but moving more efficiently and fluidly through the apparatus.
Students do not need previous dynamic experience. We will break down the mechanics, timing, and body pathways required to safely generate and control both smaller tempos and longer beats.
Throughout the intensive, students will explore:
- Momentum-based technique from backpack positions and climbers
- How to generate and control smaller tempos and longer beats
- Using momentum to enter skills with efficiency and clarity
- Understanding momentum mechanics to control drops
- How to conserve energy by working with - not against - momentum
This intensive is ideal for sling students who want to bridge the gap between static shapes and dynamic movement, developing a deeper understanding of how rhythm and momentum can transform their practice.
