Jen Robinson

Jen holds a BA(Hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance from Bird College. Following graduation and looking for a new challenge, she went on to further her training into the world of Aerial arts, beginning classes in Silks and Corde Lisse before expanding her repertoire. She has been performing as an aerialist and dancer for a number of years now, being involved in devising shows as well as teaching at various circus training spaces across London.

In 2014/15, Jen toured the UK with Cameron Mackintosh’s production of the circus musical 'Barnum,' where she performed both as an aerialist and member of the ensemble.  Previously, she performed with Upswing’s UK Tour of Red Shoes as a dancer and Chinese Pole artist. She has performed regularly with AirCraft Circus, including shows at Download Festival; Madame Pain’s Boudoir Circus, Midnight Circus on the MS Stubnitz at Canary Wharf and Damaged Goods. Jen currently performs as a solo artist, as part of an aerial duo and also on the Triples Trapeze. She also collaborated and performed on the show 'A Circus Life for Me' for the Greenwich Children’s Festival.

Jen has cultivated her skills in a range of Aerial apparatus, including Silks, Static Trapeze, Aerial Hoop and Corde Lisse. Occasionally, she can also be seen on the Chinese Pole or dabbling with Acrobalance, Hula Hooping and Juggling.

When she's not in the air...

When out of the circus tent, Jen can often be found drilling people at classes in the gym. On her more casual days, she enjoys being in the countryside and making the most of some well-earned relaxation time with friends (usually with cake). Theatre trips and cocktails are often a winner too!
