Amy trained as a dancer in Cornwall; which is where she discovered the small Cornish circus scene. Having heard rumours of aerial and having seen it at festivals - once Amy realised she could dance in the air, leg muscles were swapped out for a bit of extra arms and she began flying!
It started with hoop and harness work, which Amy trained in whenever possible! Days were spent dancing and night times flying. Performing with Cornish aerial and circus companies – before long circus was included in her own work.
Amy produces and direct shows for her circus company, Lavrak. An inclusive company, creating empowering and enabling circus. Amy toured the UK with the children's show 'Reach', to enthralled audiences across the country. Amy has worked regularly with The Eden Project, Bassline Circus and Yskynna Aerial Arts.
Amy does still dance on the floor and spends her spare time swimming, running and doing anything that involves moving!
