Self-paced. Full course access. Everything you need to start teaching Aerial Yoga.
Accredited by the World Yoga Alliance and the CPD Service.
If you're a yoga teacher who wants to add aerial yoga to what you already offer, this is the course. You don't need an aerial background. You need a solid teaching practice and enough curiosity about aerial yoga that you've already spent time in a hammock as a student. What you don't need is three days free in October or March, or a flight to book. You work through it in your own time, wherever you are, and Edel reviews your work personally throughout.
WHAT'S COVERED
Full video course covering 40+ aerial yoga moves, including regressions and progressions for different bodies and abilities
The Find Your Flow lesson planning method, a reusable system so you're never building a class from scratch
Rigging and health and safety, covering everything from equipment checks to spotting
Class management, warm ups, cool downs, inversions, and how to handle what actually happens in a mixed-ability class
Self-paced, no deadline
Assessment: a video teaching submission and written lesson plans, marked by Edel against the same criteria as the in-person course
Personal written feedback from Edel on every submission
Certificate of completion, accredited by the World Yoga Alliance and the CPD Service, enabling you to obtain professional teaching insurance
Direct email access to Edel throughout, with calls available on request
HOW IT WORKS
Self-paced, hosted on Kajabi. Start whenever you're ready and work through the material around your existing teaching schedule. There's no deadline and no cohort to keep up with. Some students finish in a week. Most take longer, and that's fine too.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Yoga teachers, Pilates instructors, personal trainers, and fitness professionals who want to add aerial yoga to their teaching. You need a current movement teaching qualification. You don't need an aerial background, and you don't need three days free this year. If you're already running a full timetable, teaching across multiple venues, or based somewhere that makes London for three days difficult, this is the version built around your diary, not the other way round.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE OFTEN ASK
Will I actually get feedback, or is this just a self-paced click-through?
Every video submission and every lesson plan is reviewed personally by Edel, and marked against the same criteria as the in-person course. You're welcome to ask questions at any part of the course.
Is the online course as rigorous as the in-person one?
Same standard, same assessment criteria, same accreditation. The difference is the format, not the depth.
I'm already teaching aerial yoga without a formal qualification. Will this tell me anything I don't already know?
Most students in this position know some of the moves. What they haven't had is someone else checking their curriculum, their sequencing, and their safety knowledge against a proper standard. That's what the feedback is for.
How long does the course take?
There's no deadline. You work through it around your existing teaching schedule. Holly Plumley finished hers in a week. Others take a few months. Both are fine.
I can't make the in-person dates this year. Is this the same qualification?
Yes. Same accreditation, same assessment standard, same certificate.

What people are saying
"This course enabled me to add Aerial Yoga classes to my studio schedule. The material was accessible and easy to follow. Edel was helpful and very knowledgeable! All our aerial yoga classes are busy so we are adding more to the timetable all the time! Couldn't recommend it enough."
Stef Carnell, Yogi Sanctuary, Cardiff. Studio owner.
Has qualified two of her teachers to keep up with demand.
"I completed this course as some of our students' parents wanted to try aerial and I thought aerial yoga might be an ideal starting point for them. My aerial yoga classes are always full and I'm teaching regularly. We also use this as part of our technique and conditioning training for our other aerial sessions. I couldn't have done it without the structure and confidence this training gave me."
Holly Plumley, aerial school owner, Worksop.
Completed the course around her teaching schedule, full classes within weeks of qualifying.

Our recommended course reading book is Applied Anatomy of Aerial Arts by Emily Scherb. NB. This is a sponsored link, but the book is amazing no matter where you buy it and we'd recommend it to all aerialists to understand how your body supports you in the air.
