If you're a yoga teacher who wants to add aerial yoga to what you already offer, this is the course.

Not certain your experience is the right fit? Email Edel before you book. She'll give you a straight answer.
"Flying Fantastic teach all aspects of aerial yoga, not only how to teach a wide and varied number of postures safely, but also how to make classes adaptable and accessible for all. They cover everything from the rigging to your safety in the sling. They also give great advice on the business elements of working as a teacher, including your studio set up and equipment, and even your insurance and First Aid requirements."
Laura Hazeldine, Flight & Flow Aerial Yoga, Brighton. Yoga Teacher. Trained in 2018. Now running her own studio and opening a second.
"The training was so thorough. I feel I have learnt so much about not only the equipment and safety but also each movement was demonstrated and explained so well. I really appreciated having time to then teach each movement to the other students. 10/10."
Erin, Pilates Teacher. Trained in 2025. Currently teaching own Aerial Yoga classes
QUESTIONS PEOPLE OFTEN ASK
I don't have much aerial experience. Would I still be able to do the course?
Yes. You need a movement teaching background, not an aerial one. The course teaches you the aerial side from the ground up.
I'm a PT or Pilates instructor, not a yoga teacher. Is this still right for me?
A significant number of students come from fitness and Pilates backgrounds. The CPD Service accreditation counts toward continuing professional development for PTs, fitness instructors, and healthcare professionals.
Is three days really enough?
Three full days of intensive, hands-on practice teaching is more than most people expect. You leave with the tools to teach, the framework, and a manual of all the course content to keep developing after you finish. After the course, you'll be asked to write 3 lesson plans for your new students. You will receive personalised feedback, and you'll be asked to make any amendments before receiving your certificate. And Edel remains available for questions after the course if you need help or advice.

Our recommended course reading book is Applied Anatomy of Aerial Arts by Emily Scherb.
NB. This is a sponsored link, but the book is amazing no matter where you buy it and we'd recommend it to all aerialists to understand how your body supports you in the air.
