We're now well on the Roadmap out of this mess, however the rules and regulations around best studio practice are still changing daily and we’re working hard to deliver the best quality classes we can under difficult circumstances. Needless to say, your health and safety will always come first at Flying Fantastic.
We have done a huge amount of work to put processes in place to keep other students safe while getting some much-needed endorphins. This will only work if we all adhere to them. So we ask that you respect other aerialists, be patient as we all get to grips with the ‘new normal’ and please let our team know if you see something that’s not right so we can sort it straight away.
It goes without saying that if you’re feeling unwell or have been in contact with anyone who is showing symptoms of COVID please do not come to class. Stay home, jump on one of our online classes and come back to see us when you’re well again.
Whilst we're aiming to deliver a 'normal' aerial class, there's a bunch of measures we're putting in place to keep each other safe. Some may feel a little 'different' which is understandable, but it's certainly not all bad. Things like reduced class sizes mean you get the equipment to yourself, so enjoy it whilst it lasts!
It's an ever changing landscape and we're not saying we're going to get it right all the time. So if you can think of other ways we could improve on what we're doing, please do let us know and we'll take your feedback on board.
We’ve reduced class sizes and the timetable by 50% to avoid congestion and to allow time between classes to ventilate the studios.
No spotting is allowed, so any beginners will need to pay attention! We are only be able to physically help folk if their safety is at risk.
We’ve a new booking system for classes. All classes need to be booked in advance. We recommend downloading our dedicated App.
Changing rooms will have limited capacity, and showers are not available. Please consider arriving for class in your aerial wear.
Our aerial equipment and touch hotspots will be regularly cleaned with disinfectant wipes throughout the day.
Blocks, foam rollers, yoga blocks, therabands, massage balls, and communal rosin have been removed from use.
The studio ventilation will be increased to maximum capacity, so exhaled air is extracted upwards during all classes.
Please regularly use the hand sanitiser that is available at multiple points around the studio.
All rigging will be undertaken by the teachers prior to the class. Hand sanitiser is applied before and after any rigging takes place.
We're going to be working hard behind the scenes to make sure you have the best, safest experience possible. But unfortunately that's not just down to us. It takes two to tango, and we're going to be relying on our lovely customers to play their part too.
The below measures give you an idea of what you can expect in your classes, and hopefully reassure you that we're doing all we can to keep you safe. Any feedback, please do let us know. We're always keen to deliver the best classes to the best customers, so drop us a line and we'll take it all onboard as we try to figure out the 'new normal'.
All classes need to be booked in advance, and require every participant to set up a new account and complete the required disclaimers.
Please come equipped with a small towel, basic 1st aid kit (including plasters), a water bottle, socks, rosin and face masks (if required).
Please come already dressed in your aerial wear - ensuring your knees, armpits and torso are covered, and with a bag for your belongings.
Please arrive 10 min early for your class and queue outside. We cannot admit anyone arriving after the class has started - under any circumstances.
When you are called through, please make sure that you sign in with one of our team at the front desk and go through to the relevant studio.
In the studio, please take your place at one of the clearly marked aerial stations. Your warm up, class and cool down will happen at your aerial station.
Please wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitiser supplied. If the bathroom needs attention, please notify the front desk team.
Customers will be required to respect their distance from one another. Any student repeatedly breaching this distance will be asked to leave.
Watch demos carefully and ask for further explanation if needed. Don’t get stuck! You may be asked to do advanced tricks one at a time. Please be patient.
At the end of the class, please wipe down your equipment and your mats using the disinfectant and wipes provided.
Please ensure you collect all your belongings when you leave as we can't guarantee immediate re-entry after your class.
Guidance is changing daily, we’re trying to do the best we can. Let us know your feedback and we’ll try to take it on board.
