Danny started out life as an actor – prior to that he was doing a science degree! In 2011, after a cabaret course, Danny found his love for all things burlesque, boylesque, drag and comedy. He went on to become a cabaret performer and in 2013 was so inspired by a London show that he completed a short aerial course, and applied to the National Centre for Circus Arts on their degree – all just 8 months later!
He specialised in Aerial Silk and Rope at the National Centre for Circus Arts, with a focus on strength and drops-based moves. He’s also experienced in cabaret, burlesque, physical and interactive theatre. Danny has also had additional training in Spanish Web, Handstands and Acrobatics.
Danny gets his highs from a good conditioning session, training complicated drops, mastering straps and strength-based moves; it takes so much time and training but there's nothing like it when he nails a move he’s been working towards for so long!
Danny has a range of floor-based burlesque and boylesque acts that tour the alternative London cabaret scene - all of which keeps him busy! His acts mix burlesque, comedy, clown and drag. Recent work includes 'Soho' by Stufish Productions, a 3 hour installation at Gay Pride London and Brighton with Duckie in Border Force, and residencies at the Battersea Arts Centre and Roundhouse.
At home you'd probably find him stretching, doing physio, going for a jog or doing even more conditioning. If life didn't have to happen he’d just train all the time!! He does have a vice though – He’s a big fan of a good coffee!
